Job Summary Provide overall direction, coordination and ongoing evaluation of spa operations. Job Description • Responsible for financial oversight an planning to include daily, monthly and yearly fiscal responsibilities • Maximize financial profitability to meet or exceed budget • Quality control with respect to their subordinate departments • Responsible for recruitment, selection and training of all levels of staff • Conduct annual evaluation sessions, and departmental development sessions • Conduct formal and informal counseling sessions with employee regarding careers, conformance with published standards, disciplinary actions, etc. Prepare proper documentation and recommendations • Conduct departmental meetings to promote communications and input from staff • Investigate customer complaints, or perception of services rendered, make the proper recommendations based on the facts presented Reports to : General Manager Job Specifications • Ability to get along with others • Highly service oriented • Possess exemplary telephone skills and well organized • Proficient in problem solving as well as multi-tasking • Must possess the ability to remain calm and think clearly during times of disconcertment • Good supervisory skills with employees Internal Qualifications • Adhere to all Rock Barn and departmental policies and procedures • Present a well-groomed, professional appearance at all time while on property. • Complete in-house orientation program, which includes all policies and procedures as per the manual and employee handbook Physical Demands • Must be able to sit for long periods of time • Must be able to see, hear, talk, sit, bend, kneel and crouch. • Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds Position : Full Time The above-mentioned information is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required, merely a general description of the nature and level of work. External Qualifications • Certified Hospitality Supervisor a plus but not required • Management experience of 5 or more years required • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent work experience • Spa or Hospitality experience required • Must be able to use computer, telephone and adding machine proficiency
